Our custom starling necklace is created using one slice from a single tagua seed.
After being sliced and polished, the nut is dyed to achieve that wonderful midnight black effect.
We engrave through the skin to reveal the virgin nut beneath.
The effect is a striking geometric animal necklace that gives a sense of a starling in flight.
We admire the starlings as they swoop and murmurate around Brighton pier -particularly in May and September- and this was one of the first designs we imagined. Although it took us a lot longer than some to perfect!
As with all our custom necklaces, you can personalise the starling for a truly unique piece almost as magical as the starling itself!
